Licensed Massage Therapist
2016 - Present
I’m a graduate of the Boulder College of Massage Therapy’s 1000-hour certification program, and have been a licensed massage therapist since 2009. I’ve always been passionate about helping people, and massage has been an integral part of that passion.
As a small child I loved to give shoulder “rubs” to my family and friends, and that interest continued as I grew up. After graduating from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Psychology, I decided to formally pursue massage at BCMT. During my time in Colorado, I received training in various massage modalities, including Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Techniques, Trigger Point Therapy, and Orthopedic Massage. I am also certified in Orthopedic and Sports Massage as well as Prenatal and Postpartum Massage, and hold an A.O.S. Degree in Massage Therapy from BCMT.
Since graduating, I’ve received additional training in Myofascial Release, and am currently working towards my Thai Yoga Massage certification. I am always looking for new ways to expand and enhance my practice. I place special emphasis on working with clients individually to create a treatment plan customized to their needs, whether that’s dealing with chronic pain, enhanced athletic performance, or just finding their center. I strive to create a space for people to let go, release, reconnect, and leave feeling grounded and relaxed.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, yoga, cooking, and hiking with my husband and our dog.
